Site Overview & Objectives

Sander Farm serves as an equipment testing ground for DroneLab@UiO. Located in Eidsvoll, the site encompasses agricultural fields, a ravine, forest, and farm infrastructure.

Sensor Campaigns & Instrumentation

Between 2021 and 2026, over 60 survey flights were conducted across the site using a diverse sensor stack:

  • Airborne LiDAR (Zenmuse L1 / L2): Generating 3D COPC point clouds and bare-earth DTMs down to 42 mm GSD.
  • Multispectral & Thermal (MicaSense Altum-PT & H20T): Calibrated surface temperature (Β°C / cK) and NDVI.
  • Photogrammetric RGB (P1, M4E, P4RTK, Mavic 2EA): Sub-centimeter orthomosaic mapping and Smart Oblique 3D mesh modeling.
